Spreading Holiday Cheer - Holiday Card Making
Last year, one of my personal highlights was delivering cards that you all made to the residents of the local nursing home. We will be doing that once again, but are asking for more this year.
We would like to send a HUGE shipment of cards to our troops on active military duty and our veterans, in addition to the nursing home residents.
Starting November 18th through November 26th, come in to make holiday cards. We provide the supplies, you provide the heart! You may also bring your own cards and we will mail them out. If you are making your cards at home, please follow recommended "Card Guidelines" at:
Do you have any spare LEGO pieces you are ready to pass along? We’d love to take them off your hands! Please bring any spare pieces to the Oradell Public Library Junior Room. They will go towards a LEGO Club we hope to start this fall.
The Lions Club of Oradell has generously offered to donate a new book
in honor of the birth of your child. Just come into the Library and
fill out a registration card. Your baby’s name will go on a bookplate
in the front of one of our brand new picture books. You get the first
check-out to share the story with your family.
This program is offered to Oradell residents only, within the first
year of your child's birth. If you have any questions, please contact the Youth Services Department at 201-262-2613.
