And not the quiet one either. Oradell Free Public Library needs patrons to speak up and speak out to support increased library funding. Please join us in opposing significant service hour reductions and requesting funding to restore previously cut service hours and acquisition budgets.
The Borough of Oradell has kept the appropriation of funds to the Library at a flat rate since 2012. In order to work within the budget, the Library Board of Trustees must decrease the Library’s service hours from fifty-four (54) to forty-four (44) per week according to this schedule beginning on Friday, May 1, 2015: Monday - 11 a. m. – 9 p. m. (Junior Room 11 a. m. - 7 p. m.) Tuesday - 11 a. m. – 9 p. m. (Junior Room 11 a. m. - 7 p. m.) Wednesday - 11 a. m. – 9 p. m. (Junior Room 11 a. m. - 7 p. m.) Thursday - CLOSED Friday - 10 a. m. – 5 p. m. Saturday - 10 a. m. – 5 p. m. Sunday - CLOSED
