ARTWORK IN THE ORADELL PUBLIC LIBRARY

#1      Gary Lee Price – A bronze sculpture of a young girl, in memory of Mrs. Debby Kyritz.   The Oradell Kid’s Foundation raised money to purchase the sculpture. Second floor in front of picture window.
 
#2      Margaret MacFarlane – Two paintings of shelves of books with the names of people who donated to the renovation of the Library.  The one painting is in the front entrance and one is over the reference desk. First floor one in front entry (48” x 20”) and one over Information Services desk (48” x 48”).
 
#3      Bryan Collins – A color painting of a 4th of July parade.  (37” x 50”).  Second floor across from circulation desk
 
#4      Mary McGlynn – A color painting of the Library after renovation.  (22.5” x 27”).  First floor over fireplace in South Reference Room.  Relocated to wall behind first floor circulation desk July 2018.
 
#5     Jack Osborn – color painting of the Library before renovation.  (25,5” x 30.5”).  Over fireplace in North Reference Room; moved to wall across from first floor circulation desk.
 
#6      N. Johansen Struck - A black and white painting of the front entrance of the Oradell Free Public Library.  (18.5” x 16.5”).  A color painting of the front entrance of the Oradell Free Public Library.  First floor work room
 
#7      Print of the Hackensack Waterworks.  (22” x 28”).  First floor across from circulation desk.
 
Following are listed various Charles Livingston Bull paintings and drawings belonging to
the Library’s collection.  All are in excellent condition with minor exceptions as noted.
 
#8 (29)         “Deer and Wood Ducks in Woodland Landscape”, 27” x 52”.  Oil on Upson board, signed lower right.  First floor across from Information Services.
 
#9 (30)         “Everglades Cougar with White Egrets”,  26” x 72”.  Oil on Upson board, signed lower right.  North Reference Room.
 
#10 (17) “Lion at Water Hole”, 5” x 19”.  Colored pencil on linen textured paper, signed lower right.  Lower level by CDs cabinet.
 
#11 (31) “Bear Cubs in Woods”, 21” x 15.5”.  Charcoal, opaque white and watercolor on paper, signed lower right.  First floor behind circulation desk.  Relocated to lower level staff stair landing July 2018.  Relocated to first floor office area August 2018. 
 
#12 (33) “Hummingbirds in hanging Plants”, 15” x 17”.  Charcoal, ink and opaque white on paper.  (Has three large tack holes, some light toning of paper with age.)  Signed lower right.  First floor behind circulation desk.
 
#13 (24) “German Shepherd” approx. 7.5” x 10”. Charcoal and opaque white on paper, signed lower right.  First floor periodicals.
 
#14 (46)”Bulldog, Irish Wolfhound, Pointer”.  10.5” x 22”.  Ink, gouache and charcoal on illustration board, signed lower right.  First floor North Reference Room.
 
#15 (37, 38) “Flight of Swallows”, in two sections, 13” x 27.5” each.  Charcoal, wash and opaque white, signed right panel, lower left.  Lower level by Local History Archive Room.
 
#16 (18) “White Tailed Buck and Alligator in Lake”, 13” x 19.5”.  Ink, charcoal, wash and opaque white, signed lower right.  Lower level behind circulation desk.
 
#17 (19) “Ruffled Grouse taking Flight”, 40.5” x 68”. Ink, watercolor and pastel, signed lower right.  First floor Director’s office.
 
#18 (22) “Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep”,  15” x 13.5”.  Watercolor and charcoal, signed lower right.  First floor across from circulation desk.
 
#19 (23) “Eagle Attacking Crows, Wild Horse in Landscape”,  21.5” x 27.5  Ink, charcoal, watercolor, gouache, signed middle left.  Lower level archive room.
 
#20 (21) “Donkey looking over Fence”, 13.5” x 9.5”.  Ink and charcoal, signed lower right.  First floor periodical room.
 
#21 (20) “Chickadee in berry bush”, 11” x 9”.  Ink and Charcoal, signed lower right.  First floor work room.
 
#22 (28) “Puppy watching wasp”, 12” x 9”.  This is a photographic print.  First floor work room.
