Internet Use
The Library supports the principle of open, free, and unrestricted access to information and ideas, regardless of the format in which they appear. The Internet is an unregulated medium that may be inaccurate, unreliable, illegal or perceived as disturbing or offensive. The Library does not endorse the content or information found via the Internet. However, the internet provides information that are personally, professionally, and culturally enriching to individuals of all ages. The Library does not censor access to this information. The regulation of access to the Internet by minors is the responsibility of their parents or guardians. The library neither monitors nor controls the information accessed through the Internet and cannot be held responsible for its content. Nonetheless, the library reserves the right to intervene and terminate a session if the display of information creates a disturbance.
