IFC Film Club
Oradell Public Library hosts a film discussion group, modeled on our two successful book discussion groups, the Morning Book Club and the Evening Book Club. The IFC (Independent * Foreign * Classic) Film Club meets on fourth Mondays of the month.
The IFC Film Club meets every fourth Monday of the month at 7 p. m.
The film chosen for the next meeting on Monday, August 26, 2024, is Swept Away... by an Unusual Destiny in the Blue Sea of August (Travolti da un insolito destino nell'azzurro mare d'agosto, 1974), usually shortened to Swept Away, an Italian romantic adventure comedy drama, written and directed by Lina Wertmüller, starring Giancarlo Giannini and Mariangela Melato in which a wealthy woman whose yachting vacation with friends in the Mediterranean Sea takes an unexpected turn when she and one of the boat's crew are separated from the others and they become stranded on a desert island.
The program is free and open to anyone interested, so join us in the North Reading Room of the Library for the next meeting.
