ESL Conversation Program

Oradell Public Library is pleased to have such a successful program offering conversation classes for those learning English as a Second Language (ESL). We are gratified to see how residents are paired up with their fellow residents to engage in conversation aimed at helping those who are learning English improve their speaking and comprehension skills.
We still need community volunteers to devote some time each week to sit and converse with those learning to speak English. Volunteers need not have prior ESL training or experience, though these are fine. We will provide some materials that will be helpful in sparking conversation with the patrons who need help with learning conversational English.
Please contact Information Services Librarian Linda Pabian at the Library, if you are interested in volunteering and serving in this exciting venture: (201) 262-2613. Download the flyer.
