Oradell Public Library offers to Oradell residents with their library cards NJHealthConnect iPads available for use at the Library or to be checked out for use anywhere with a wireless internet connection.
The overarching purpose of these iPads is to provide “access to care,” a public health term that has been identified as a barrier to equitable health for New Jerseyans.
The term is broad and covers access to a doctor or healthcare provider, but it also includes access to health information that is written in a language or at a literacy level that can be easily understood by someone whose native language is not English, or someone with low literacy (reading or comprehension).
The iPads include these features
Each iPad includes a folder with a simple list of what kind of information is on the iPad and what you can do with the iPads.
Visit or contact the Library if you would like to use one of our three iPads.
